CITY HALL

San Francisco City Hall is a public building, and it’s free for anyone to enter and take photos throughout the halls and many of the iconic areas. Because it’s a shared space, there may be other visitors nearby during your session. We’ll do our best to choose angles and timing that feel private, and when needed we’ll politely ask people to step aside for a moment. If that isn’t possible, we’ll keep the photos moving and take care of any distracting background guests with retouching afterward, so your final images feel clean and timeless. City Hall does not handle marriage licenses or officiants, so couples should also confirm legal requirements separately.
